.. Decorative vase, rare technique of stained glass enamels, China, cloisonné, perfect condition
Vase, made in a rare technique of stained enamel and Plique-à-jour (FR. "let in daylight"). Due to this, light can pass through the transparent or translucent enamel. In fact, it is a miniature version of stained glass, and is technically considered a very complex work: large work (up to 4 months for the subject) with a high cost of failure.
