Pinkhus Flint (1890-1981) is one of those artists of the Russian emigration, whose legacy is now a growing interest of museums and private collectors. Bright representative of the "Paris school" in 1909-1912 he studied at the Vilna art school, where he met chaïm Soutine and Kikoin, Mikhail. In 1912 he moved to Paris, in the colony of young Parisian artists "Beehive", where he met Amedeo Modigliani, Marc Chagall, Fernand Leger. Pinkhus Flint was a regular member of the Parisian "salons", he wrote landscapes, portraits, still lifes and Nudes in the spirit of "moderate" expressionism. His personal exhibitions were held in galleries van Leer, True, gerbo, Grouse, Durand Ruel. Picture of Pinchus flint bought famous Marshal — L. Zborovsky, P. Guillaume, G., Sharon, L. Zamaron.
