A beautiful example of Russian Serebrianogo art. The milkman was produced in the workshop of Gubkin in Moscow in 1854. The unusual shape was a distinctive feature of the masters, and the combination of different techniques (casting, engraving, pointille, gilding) evidence of high professionalism and quality of work. Milk jug made of silver of 84 samples as evidenced by hallmark. Item is in excellent condition, located in Russia in private collection.
