Ca. Ø55mm, approx. 116 g, 18K gold, serial number 1945/29656, cylinder movement with automatic winding, enamel dial, pink gold hands, movement starts ticking but needs cleaning, probably around 1790. Cylinder watches from this period with automatic winding are extremely rare. The largest known collection belonged to Jean-Claude Sabrier, author of "Les Montres automatiques: XVIIIe-XXIe siècles". This particularly early example from the 18th century was part of his collection.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
