Approx 75mm long, approx. 49g, 18K Gold, elaborate floral ornaments, worked in 3 different shades of gold, studded with natural pearl, automatic, with rear lift, rotating diamonds on a blue enamel surface, decorative and very rare, fully functional, an absolute rarity. The manufacturer of this extremely rare machine was probably Tardy & Fils, Geneva. Were sold via Marcks & Co, Bombay, under the name "Spinning Star" or "Spinning Rose". The last known similar piece was sold in 2002 in Geneva for over 16,000 Swiss francs (source: https://www.cortrie.de/go/v15).
