Well-established in the southern Netherlands)Entombment Of ChristScenic representation in a cave with three mourning Marys and the beloved disciple, John, and Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimithäa in a magnificent brocade robe and a red Turban, which lay the body of Christ in the tomb. In the foreground is the crown of thorns, and a pair of pliers with three cross-eyed on Calvary with the three Crosses, nails; in the Background, the two outer on the cross hanging thief. Composition, style, and Character portrayal of the devotional image to a previously unidentifiable early Netherlandish masters from the southern Netherlands, close. Artist to be of particularly high quality and fine out the main characters of Joseph and Nicodemus, as well as the mother of God and John are working on this. May be from the same master, a similar burial scene in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam (inv dates./cat.no SK-A-2591), dated to 1530. Oil/Oak Panel. 52 cm x 42.5 cm. Frame.Oil on oak panel.
