In a monk's robe in an upright Shijiamouni (Shakyamuni), bare feet and all the standing at the end of Hand in the Varadamudra, the gesture of wish-fulfillment. The other Hand holds a Lotus flower, Symbol of purity, in this case, the teaching of the Buddha. Buddha with the flower in the Hand can be referred to in Sanskrit as Kusumashri, “Venerable with the flower”. Delicately formed fingers, the facial features of a spiritualized as well, with a very fine sense of Nuance. The Spiritual stress of the very high running Ushnisha with Lotus Bud. In the modeling, manual work clearly shows (very well seen on the long back) in the style of early Blanc de Chine figures, C. 17. Century., also the colour of this Blanc de Chine as well as the style point to an older time. Very good complete preservation.
