Frame, brass plated with multiple decorative edges. Oval Glass Cover. 10.7 x 7.8 cm. "Carrying eye". Wonderful hand work, rare collectors piece in excellent condition, from private collection. To match the front numbers.
Emil Rau (1858 Dresden - Munich, 1937), a German painter of the 19th century. Century. Studies at the art Academy in Dresden and from 1879 at the Academy in Munich, Germany, since 1883 as a freelance painter in Munich.
