Oak, flowering ash, & a. woods. Four schübiger verkröpfter Socket. Two door pedestal with ionic column outline, and the door panels with round arches. The appropriate essay of the Corinthian order. Stepped, verkröpfter wreath. Inlaid Moorish Decor. Engraved iron fittings, probably the original chapel of the castle. Central part during restoration in 1973, removed (p. restoration label Alfred R. Goering of 15. July 1973). Restored, erg., dam. 232 x 201 x 64 cm. From the middle part of use with contemporary inscription "Wenczelaus grinberger / of Olomouc (?) / Hoc fecitt 1556". To the type, for example, cf. a two-storey, Nuremberg, facade, Cabinet of the Frankfurt Museum for Applied art,. in Bauer, Margrit/Märker, Peter/Ohm, Annaliese (Bearb.), European furniture from Gothic to art Nouveau. The Museum of arts and crafts Frankfurt a. Main. Frankfurt a. Main 1976, p. 27, cat. No 18. Provenance: according to the previous owner formerly owned by the counts of Arco, to tin mountain in Schloss Schönburg, Pocking (Lkr. Passau), since then South German aristocratic ownership.
