with a French fire-gilt bronze mount on a Passignano curly, rocaille-shaped framed Base with a grid-shaped open worked gazebo, niche-shaped Trellis. Laterally ascending, branching tendrils with coloured staff numbered porcelain flowers. In the gazebo, on a flat Base, a wreath of flowers crowned sea nymph Galatea, daughter of Nereus, in purple coloured, flower patterned cloth, accompanied by two dolphins. Polychrome painting with Gold contouring. Design probably by Johann Friedrich Eberlein. Minim. rest.; Sword brand. Ges.-H. 21,5 cm.
Such figures in a similar modeling is also included as a table decoration by Johann Joachim Kaendler and Friedrich Eberlein designed the so-called Swan service. The peculiarity to arrange Meissen porcelain figures, with French bronze mounts, joined in the middle of the 18. Century in appearance.
