Large-scale ICON of THE mother of GOD 'IWERSKAJA' VERMEIL-PEARL-OKLAD, Russia, beginning of 19th century. Century. (Icon), Moscow, Russia, in 1828 tempera on gesso on wood, on the rear two back-Sponki, verso velvet cover. Egg tempera on gesso, a partial silver plating gold colors stained. 53.5 x 41.8 cm. Character, fineness '84' and maker's mark 'JaM hallmarked with town mark, examination, mostly in Cyrillic. Riza made of gold-plated silver with a very fine embossed and punziertem decor: a Circumferential border with baskets of flowers and leaf motifs. The robes are covered with metal foil and pearl embroidery. The applied Nimben adorned with apparent stones and Turquoise. The name badges are enamelled worked.
