LOUIS-CONSTANT SÉVIN 1821 Versailles 1888 Neuilly-sur-Seine (draft) high-significant mantel clock, Paris, France, by Ferdinand Barbedienne, 2. Half of the 19th century. Century, Bronze, gilt. H. 84 cm, W 41 cm. To the side F. Barbedienne', on the movement with maker's mark' Medaille d'argent in 1955, Vincent & Cie, called''. Four of the column-shaped feet to the bottom of a curved, high rectangular body with a rounded conclusion. Look side and the side with the facets of glass, magnificent applications with rocaille, acanthus leaf, shells, and garlands of flowers. Full-plastic figure of a seated Poseidon with a Trident as a crown. Round dial with black Roman numerals on white enameled fields. Gold plating min. ber., Functionality unaudited, self-aligning.
