Ivory. Very finely carved with elaborately engraved and dark accented Details. A
Bugaku dancers in full armor with a dragon helmet and a Naginata in the Taiheiraku. The
Taiheiraku is a war dance, to the Left (samai), originally of Chinese origin
was. Height 4.9 cm. Signiatur: Hidemasa in an oval cartouche, see MCI, p. 138 et seq. of the state of A.
