Colorless glass and red ÜberfanGelbgoldlas, painted, back. fine-ground out. On the front side with Black stained, contoured, gestupft and wash, back. Silver yellow order. The Original Lead Version. In a Renaissance arcade, a young woman, presenting coat of arms of the Alliance. Floral frame and Ref. "ANNO DOMINI 1563". Restored according to the guidelines of the Corpus Vitrearum Medii Aevi. 28 x 22.5 cm. In for glass paintings-developed light-emitting part of the company's HALF-mounted. The now extinct families Ayrer and Schwartz were well-respected Citizens the families of the city of Nuremberg. For the family Ayrer family ties to the Nuremberg patrician family Praun are known. So Stephan II Praun (1513-1578) had married in 1543 Ursula Ayrer of Roßthal. A coat of arms disc of the Gilg Ayrer of 1598 is in the Germanic national Museum in Nuremberg, a further glass window with the coat of arms of the Ayrer in the St. Lorenz Church. In the figure, the coat-of-arms holder was used on a draft of the Nuremberg painter and graphic artist Sebald Beham (1500-1550) already in 1530, a glass painting with the coat of arms of the ratsfähigen Nuremberg sex Meichsner in the possession of the Germanic national Museum was based in Nuremberg (Inv. no. No. MM 209; catalogue of, in the Germanic Museum under glass paintings from older time, Nuremberg in 1898, Fig. P. 27).
