Counterparts. Representative, expressive character manner portraits of a wealthy couple. According to information of the consignor, it is the Portraits of the Hamburg-based businessman and entrepreneur J. H. C. Meyer and his wife, who was temporarily as Hutfabrikant in Buenos Aires and 1854/56 the glassworks in Geesthacht took over. Oil/canvas on wood panel, laminated. L. u. or r. u. signed; 57.5 cm x 46 cm. Original A Frame.
