RARE HELMET OURARTEEN OF THE FORTRESS OF KING SARDURI II (764 735 av J.-C) Helmet in bronze, Urartu, Kamir Blur, Viiith century bc J.-C.

Bronze repoussé, stamp conical decorated with grooves concentric at the base of the stamp and a channel cross-sectional vertical towards which is curved in relief of four lines radiating out from the base.

Ten helmets of the same type have been discovered to Kamir Blur, the old Teishebani. These pieces were made to Erébouni and offered to the city of Teishebani in honor of the foundation of the temple to the god Khaldi. Most helmets today are kept at the state Hermitage Museum of St. Petersburg and the historical Museum of Armenia in Yerevan.
