Profiled, spade-shaped handle with an oval, deep gemuldeter spoon. On both sides of the wall of a large Phoenix bird and flowering, rocks and rice straw hedge up awake at the end of peony branches, surrounded by scattered Indian flowers. Polychrome, Gold gehöhte painting. L. 20 cm.
Inspired by the bright coloured décors in red, Blue, Green and yellow tones of the Japanese Sakaida Kakiemon (1596-1666) and his successors created in Meissen, from about 1723 to the mid-1730s, many harnesses in the kakiemon style.
