Ritterliches Scheibenknaufschwert, deutsch, um 1300
Kräftige, zweischneidige Klinge mit beidseitiger, bis kurz vor die Spitze reichender Kehlung. Leicht zur Klinge geneigte Parierstange mit abgeflachten Enden. Konische, am Ansatz gekehlte Angel, gerundeter Scheibenknauf mit beidseitig eingelegten Kreuzsymbolen in Kupfer (unvollständig). Länge 96 cm.
Provenienz: Hermann Historica, München, Auktion 80, Herbst 2019, Los 3727. Davor im englischen Kunsthandel, zuvor in einer österreichischen Privatsammlung, in den 80er Jahren erworben.

A knightly sword with disc-shaped pommel, ca. 1300
Sturdy, double-edged blade with fullers on both sides extending almost to the point. Quillons slightly curved towards the blade with flattened finials. Tapered tang with fullers at the base, rounded disc pommel with cross symbols inlaid in copper on both sides. Length 96 cm.
Provenance: Hermann Historica, München, Auktion 80, Herbst 2019, Los 3727. Davor im englischen Kunsthandel, zuvor in einer österreichischen Privatsammlung, in den 80er Jahren erworben.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
