In warm-tone colour-painted depiction of the Holy, holding the child in a deep interiority and intimacy in the hands. On a stone Pedestal to the right of the image, a white Lily as a Symbol of purity. The motif of the Vision of the Hl. Francis with the Christ child is found repeatedly in the Italian and Spanish Baroque painting, including Bartolomé Esteban Murillo. Oil/Lwd., doubl.; Verso old auction label. 102 cm x 74.5 cm. Frame.
