Original, color frischel ithographie on sand colored, heavy paper with full Edge-preservation and without damage. In the stone lower left coat of arms and monogram of R. countries "RV Voigt". Under ofrepresentation in the middle referred to as: "W. strich-CHAPELL: THE TOWER-Keeper." The lower edge of the sheet on the left: "R. VOIGTLÄNDER VERLAG IN LEIPZIG. No. 405 (4).“ The lower edge of the sheet to the right: "art printing house KÜNSTLERBUND KARLSRUHE." The upper edge of the sheet on the left: "ARTISTIC WALL ornaments", the upper edge of the sheet to the right: "GERMAN artists stone drawings". Walter Strich-Chapell 1877 Stuttgart - Sersheim 1960). A German decorative painter, theater painter, and lithographer. His family came from Aachen (French Aix-la-Chapelle). There his grandfather to put already the double name of strich-Chapell. Apprenticeship as a decorative painter, arts and crafts school in Stuttgart, 1897 scholarship at the State Academy of fine arts in Karlsruhe, student of Robert Pötzelberger, 1900 master student of Gustav Schönleber.
