Tim Rollins was an American artist who together with the art collaborative K.O.S. formed the art-group Tim Rollins and K.O.S (Kids of Survival).
Since the founding of the Art & Knowledge Workshop in 1982, Tim Rollins & K.O.S. have produced allegorical paintings, sculptures and drawings by mining the vast wealth of printed matter - from the popular to the arcane, from the minor to the canonical, from legal documents to comic books (areas in no way mutually exclusive in Rollins & K.O.S.'s view) - which are themselves understood as political allegories.

Andreas Schulze first began showing alongside neo-expressionist artists in the 1980s, although his work was considerably less gestural than that of his contemporaries. The artist instead opted for more rounded forms, which he used to create a playful, humorous style of figuration. Typical subjects included the contents interior spaces — such as pillows, lamps, and furniture — which he merged with more ominous abstraction.

His late work received significant impulses from annual stays in Faucon (southern France) from 1991 to 2010.
Max Uhlig has been a member of the German Association of Artists since 1990 and a founding member of the Saxon Academy of the Arts. From 1995 to 2002, he was the professor for painting and graphics at the University of Fine Arts in Dresden.

He graduated from the School of Graphic Arts and Book Art in Leipzig and also lives and works in Leipzig. Weischer's imaginative, incompatible interiors have become his calling card.
The never-populated, deserted rooms in his paintings create psychological tension and inexplicable anxiety in the viewer.
