Antony Mark David Gormley is a British sculptor. His works include the Angel of the North, a public sculpture in Gateshead in the north of England, commissioned in 1994 and erected in February 1998; Another Place on Crosby Beach near Liverpool; and Event Horizon, a multipart site installation which premiered in London in 2007, then subsequently in Madison Square in New York City (2010), São Paulo, Brazil (2012), and Hong Kong (2015-16).
Gormley's career began with a solo exhibition at the Whitechapel Art Gallery in 1981. Almost all his work takes the human body as its subject, with his own body used in many works as the basis for metal castings.

Hans Peter Adamski is a German painter and graphic artist who lives and works in Berlin and Dresden.
He studied at the Dusseldorf Academy of Art and served as professor and dean of the Dresden University of Fine Arts. Adamski is one of the most important representatives of the Neue Wilden ("New Wilden") movement of the 1980s. In addition to painting, he works in drawing, sculpture, paper, fabric and plaster.
Sandro Chia is an Italian painter and sculptor. In the late 1970s and early 1980s he was, with Francesco Clemente, Enzo Cucchi, Nicola De Maria, and Mimmo Paladino, a principal member of the Italian Neo-Expressionist movement which was baptised Transavanguardia by Achille Bonito Oliva.
Gerhard Merz is a German artist. From 1969 to 1973 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. Between 1964 and 1969 expressive pictures were taken and subsequently first metal sculptures. Since the beginning of the 1970s, he has been increasingly working with room installations in which he manufactured references to literary and art history as well as political history, as well as with the development of large-format, monochrome, with lineset nets from pencils covered. At the beginning of 1977, he was represented with his works four times in a row at Documenta in Kassel.
Miguel Ortiz Berrocal was a Spanish figurative and abstract sculptor. He is best known for his puzzle sculptures, which can be disassembled into many abstract pieces. These works are also known for the miniature artworks and jewelry incorporated into or concealed within them, and the fact that some of the sculptures can be reassembled or reconfigured into different arrangements. Berrocal's sculptures span a wide range of physical sizes from monumental outdoor public works, to intricate puzzle sculptures small enough to be worn as pendants, bracelets, or other body ornamentation.
