Harlequin with bird cage
Irregular, with plastic flowers and leaves used Socket. On a rocky Bank of a seated harlequin colored jacket with a shed and playing-card patterns, as well as yellow trousers, a dove in a raised Hand holding. Standing on his right side, pierced the bird cage. On the ground crouched cat. Draft. Johann Friedrich Eberlein. Sword brand. H. 13 cm. (168203)
Johann Friedrich Eberlein has designed several variants of this figure group. So he writes in the Taxa of August, 1743: "A Arlequin, to feet, so a bird in the Hand, next to a bird-cage and a cat."
