Detailliert in Silber gefertigte Handgranate mit abziehbarem Splint und beweglichem Sicherungsbügel, seitliche Juwelierspunze "G.&S. Co. Ltd." sowie Londoner Hallmarks für das Jahr 1941. Höhe 95,2 mm, Durchmesser 61 mm (Maßstab 1:1). Montiert auf ebonisiertem, rundem Holzsockel mit vorderseitig vakanter Widmungsplakette in Silber. Gesamthöhe 15 cm. Hochwertiges Juweliersmodell der auch als "No. 5" bekannten Handgranate, die 1915 von William Mills, einem Hersteller von Golfschlägern entwickelt wurde. The Goldsmith's and Silversmith's Co. Ltd. wurden 1880 von William Gibson und John Lawrence Langman gegründet und hatten ihren Hauptsitz in Londons Regent Street. 1952 fusionierten sie mit Garrard & Co. Zustand: I - II
