Mantel clock 'a YOUNG WOMAN ON the BANKS' France, Paris, the Japy Frerés & Cie, 2. Half of the 19th century. Century, Bronze, brown and light patina. H. 29,5 cm, L. 50 cm. On the movement Charpentier Ft de Bronzes, a Paris', with maker's mark 'Japy freres Medaille d' Honeur''. Over an oval-shaped Stand corresponding, naturalistic plinth with the full plastic representation of a young lady in antique neo classical garb in a prayerful attitude, on a shore sitting. It is based on the movement of the housing. Round, white enamelled dial with black Roman numerals. Losses to the Patina, movement, unaudited, Stand loose.
