Approx. 55mm, approx. 119g, 18K Gold, guilloche, rändiert, No. 3196, housing punches PM (Piguet & Meylan) and FM (probably the case maker), cylinder escapement, 2 spring barrels for movement and music, triggering of repeater for quarter-hours and hours about the Pendant, extremely rare dial is made of solid Gold set with 6-sided enamel cartouches for the numerals and a Central enamel magnifying glass painting of very high quality, harbour scene with sunset, blued Breguet-style steel hands, in excellent condition. The whole watch is an absolute exception of quality. The Geneva manufactory was created as a partnership of Philippe Samuel Meylan and Isaac Daniel Piguet in the Rue Rousseau. 45 in Geneva, and remained in operation until 1828. The manufactory specialized in the manufacture of musical clocks and automata clocks and moving animals, such as songbirds cans, bird cages with singing birds, in gold, enameled or jeweled Cases.
