so-called "Brown goods". Red ceramic with dark brown glaze. Baluster-shaped body with short cylindrical neck. Cross, round, flat lid. On the wall and the lid. Chinoiserien, scenic representations of Chinese fan and umbrella, servants prior to the carrier or the Chinese would get in the water in a stylized Asian landscape. Circumferential, Lancet-like ornament edging. Fine, partially erased silver painting. H. 10 cm.
In accordance with the böttger stone witness of the Meissen manufactory were made in Bayreuth, Germany, after the privatization of the manufacture 1728 glazed earthenware with top-quality Gold and silver painting of the main master Adam Clemens Wanderer and Johann Andreas Fichthorn on brown glaze. One of the earliest objects of 1724 is located in the Hessian state Museum in Darmstadt, Germany.
