Antoine Allaix is a craftsman whose record is found in the EIGHTEENTH century

Molines-en - Queyras. As a border region, the Queyras, located in the

south of Briançon, suffered indirectly or directly of wars. To

The SEVENTEENTH and EIGHTEENTH centuries, it was crossed by the French troops

made in Italy to fight the armies of Savoy, Spain, Austria

or the Holy roman Empire. These include the war of the Austrian Succession

(1740-1748) in which was executed the case, dated in 1740. The inhabitants

had to open the snow-covered passes or redo the paths in a poor state ; they

had the obligation to provide forage, mules, flour (obligation of "step"

and the " district ").
