Mr portrait (self-portrait) half figure to the left, the head to the right turned. In the clothing of the members of the Herrnhut community (Moravian brethren). Oil on canvas. 32 x 24 cm. Doubled. Restored. Min. dam. Frame. By Ziesenis, only one is so far self-portrait in the Mature man's age is known (CR. no. 230). According to the friendly notice of Dr. Wolfgang Wiese, this early self-portrait, could have originated in the time when the boy "art, Mahler" had a castle at the beginning of his Mannheim-based activities to 1743-1745 Studio and apartment - like other artists - in the electoral Palatinate.
