19th Century Pair of Cassolettes in Marble and Gilt Bronze Bronze Napoleon III 19th century

Crafted from Pyrenean marble, specifically the Bénou Breccia kind, and enhanced with gilded bronze embellishments representing acanthus leaves and grape motifs, these cassolettes are not highly decorative thanks to the ornate nature of the marble and its accompanying decor, but they also showcase superb craftsmanship and gold detailing.
