A MONUMENTAL VICTORIAN CUT-GLASS CONSOLE AND MIRROR

BY F. & C. OSLER, BIRMINGHAM, CIRCA 1887

Of architectural outline, the stepped mirrored pediment with scalloped overlay and orb finials, the frames with baluster-form cut and faceted columns, over a rectangular mirrored console top, the lower open section with a mirrored back and shelf, the arcaded front and sides with scalloped aprons with fan-cut spandrels, the front supports each with a faceted solid column with various gadrooned and faceted collars, and with square cut columns at the back, on bun-form feet, with printed and inscribed Ann and Gordon Getty Collection inventory label

122 in. (310 cm.) high, 76 in. (193 cm.) wide, 25 in. (63.5 cm.) deep
