Third Reich 1933-1945 - Partial inheritance of the Knight's Cross recipient Paul Hermann Werner (1893-1940), commander of the Panzer Regiment 31 "Red Devils" with commemorative volume, documents, photos and books. Consisting of a probably further exemplar of the extensive commemorative volume of a total of only 2 known surviving volumes from the family environment. This with a black Iron Cross 1939 cover and reverse embossed with partly original photos and newspaper clippings and reports on the "Red Devils", the awarding of the Knight's Cross and Colonel Werner's funeral in Brest in 1940. On black-framed handmade paper. Also inside therein various copies: 2 x identity card about the award of the Austrian war commemoration medal in 1937 as well as a copy of the certificate of the Bulgarian tsardom about the war commemoration medal in 1938. Also 2 newspaper fragments with the illustration and naming of new Knight's Cross recipients, 4 photo prints with individual or group portraits of Colonel Werner, of which 1 framed print. Also from Colonel Werner's personal belongings, each with a label or stamp pasted "ex libris": 4 volumes "Rangliste des Deutschen Reichsheeres" vols. 1926, 1927, 1928 and 1930. Werner's original signature in volumes 1926 and 1927. Also bound typescript with dust jacket "Nunquam-retrorsum!" and red devil from collected communications, orders, messages and speeches on the occasion of Werner's funeral. Also 2 x book The "Red Devils" and their commander by Hans Christern. Munich 1941/1942. A copy with a damaged dust jacket and a personal dedication by the author. Pamphlet "Der Heldentod meines Regimentskommandeurs", Schwerin 1924, about the death of Lieutenant Colonel Wilhelm von Thadden as well as a beer newspaper for the farewell party of the staff commander of anti-tank troops X.
