Der Standartenadler in hohler, mehrteilig zusammengesetzter, versilberter und vergoldeter Ausführung mit eingesetztem, schwarz lackiertem Hakenkreuz. Auf der Tülle vorderseitig das Stiftungsdatum "1923", rückseitig die Herstellerbezeichnung "Otto Gahr", sowie zwei Befestigungslöcher. Darunter der Standartenkasten aus versilbertem Aluminiumblech mit vorderseitig relieferter Bezeichnung "Niederrhein" und rückseitig "NSDAP", jeweils auf rot lackiertem Grund. Maße ca. 40 x 11,5 x 7 cm. In Eicheln auslaufende Befestigungsstange aus braunem, poliertem Holz mit schwarz-weiß-rotem Kordelbehang. Daran das rote Standartentuch mit einem dreiseitigen, schwarz-weiß-roten Fransenbehang und beidseitig mittig einer weißen, silbern eingefassten Scheibe mit dem schwarzen liegenden Hakenkreuz sowie vorderseitig in weißer Stickerei "Deutschland Erwache" und rückseitig "Nat. Soz. Deutsche Arbeiterpartei - Sturmabteilung", am oberen Rand eine rote Lederverstärkung, um das Scheuern an der Stange zu verringern. Maße ca. 68 x 59 cm. Neuzeitliche, zweiteilige Tragestange. Gesamthöhe ca. 226 cm, Gewicht ca. 6,5 kg. Sehr selten und in ausgezeichnetem Zustand.

An NSDAP standard of the SA Niederrhein "Deutschland Erwache"
Composed of finial, box, cross pole, standard cloth, tassels, and staff. The finial silver-plated and gilt, the soldered swastika also gilt and painted black in the centre. The socket stamped with the founding date "1923" on the front and the manufacturer's mark "Otto Gahr" on the reverse, two fastening holes. The silver and gold plating tarnished and abraded in places due to age. The box fixed underneath made of silver-plated sheet aluminum. The front of the box with the embossed designation "Niederrhein" and "NSDAP" on the back, the original red lacquer still in good condition on both sides. The housing screwed together by means of a screw below the first letter "r" of "Niederrhein" and correctly on the back in "NSDAP" in the upper section of the letter "D". Dimensions of the housing 40 x 11.5 x 7 cm. The cross pole polished brown stained wood with turned acorn end decoration. The red silk standard cloth with a black, white, and red fringe on three sides and a pocket at the top to accommodate the cross pole, ca. 68 x 59 cm, complete with leather patch in the centre of the standard to protect the cloth from rubbing against the pole. Obverse and reverse sides offset with a white disc and a horizontal black swastika, trimmed with silver braid in each case. The front bearing the inscription "Deutschland Erwache" in white embroidery, the back reads "Nat. Soz. Deutsche Arbeiterpartei" and "Sturmabteilung". Complete with the black, white, and red woolen tassels on both sides, the ties twisted together. The new two-piece standard pole polished brown wood can be unscrewed at the central silvered fittings (lower silver cup has been cut off but remains). Ca. 2.26 m tall, 6.5 kilos. Extremely rare and in excellent condition.
