Assorted correspondence by French Symbolist painters and Romantic composers. Chavannes provides a statement on his career, otherwise refusing all publicity. He congratulates Pathey for his work on Daubigny. Moreau thanks his unnamed correspondent for the poetry he has received. Delibes declines an invitation from Garnier and greets his wife, thanking her for ‘l’aimable hospitalité qu’elle voulait bien me donner’.
