Bicorne hat for naval officers of black needle felt trimmed with black silk band. Gold clasp above silk cockade in black, white and red, gilt naval button. On the inside light-coloured leather sweatband with white silk lining, wearer’s name "Kosswig" imprinted in gold. Elegant dark blue gala tunic of fine quality, double-breasted. The collar with broad surrounding gold braiding, the breast and sleeve cuffs in black velvet cloth, with surrounding gold braiding. Complete with epaulettes with black velvet fields and gilt appliqués, as well as shoulder loops and gold shoulder buttons. The sleeves with gold rank braiding for a naval chief engineer (in the rank of a 1st lieutenant). All buttons in fine gilt version with crowned anchor. The inside with white lining, inside breast pocket. Comes with a well- preserved waist belt for naval officers with heavy, gilt buckle. Worn uniform, the tunic with slight moth damage and unobtrusive darn on the back. Very prestigious.
