A Mauser C 96 "Early Flatside", in case
Cal. 7,63mmMauser, SN. 21748, matching numbers. Barrel length 140 mm, matte bore. Proof marks double-crown/"U" and Oberndorf antlers. Made circa 1900. Rear sights graduated 1 - 10. Long extractor. Large ring hammer. Three-line maker's mark on top of the chamber. Original finish with some spotting on the barrel and the left-hand side of the magazine well, on the right-hand side some pitting. Polished extractor. Most small parts nitre-blued. Hammer and lock case case hardened. Trigger strawed. Walnut grips with matching numbers. Lanyard loop. Trigger defective, but repairable. In a wooden case, dimensions 35.5 x 20 x 5 cm, lined in red baize, key. ATTENTION: the ten cartridges and the clip are NOT included!
