Five nineteenth-century specimen albums on seaweeds, wild flowers, Alpine plants, New Zealand ferns, and Swedish grasses, plus four illustrated volumes of natural history from the same period.

Albums: “Alpine Plants.” Quarto. Approximately 300 specimens on 48 leaves. Letterpress or manuscript identification labels to almost all plants. Presentation inscription dated Auckland, July 1876. * [Seaweeds.] Oblong folio. Approximately 50 leaves with one or more seaweed specimens per leaf, manuscript identifications in Latin and extensive literary quotations in English. Roan-backed boards.
