The Messbach estate belongs to the municipality of Dörzbach in the administrative district of Künzelsau in northern Württemberg. Since the Middle Ages it has had an eventful history and numerous owners. In 1845, Meßbach was made so-called "Fideikommiss" to prevent the splitting up of the inheritance and thus of a family's possessions and property.
