My passion for drawing since childhood has turned into a search path for my whole life. The basics of professionalism were given to me by studying at the M. Tuganov Professional Art School (1984-1984), now occupied by the territory of Georgia, in the city of Tskhinvali (South Ossetian Autonomous Republic). I have been painting professionally for over 30 years. After graduating from college, which also taught me culture, discipline and a certain technique, it was difficult to get out of the technique of academic drawing. This haunted me in my life for another 11 years. All this time I was in shackles, limiting the freedom of my thoughts and creative direction. All this was influenced by the war in South Ossetia, in Abkhazia, which for many centuries of Georgia's existence was a single land for all nations living on the territory of Georgia as one single family.
Trying the technique of drawing in different ways and colors, I managed to free myself from the shackles, radically changing my thinking, method and style of drawing. In 2017, in the composition of some of my paintings on canvas, I added different varieties of wine and watercolors as a background for transparency, quartz sand to obtain a grainy texture, followed by finishing with acrylics. ... Horizontal, vertical lines, roundness and perspective sometimes complement some of my paintings. My paintings are like a calendar of my mood, dreams, feelings, a passion to break free for light, for freedom, which can be seen in the creative process of each of my subsequent paintings. Silently expressing on the canvas step by step what I could not just say in words, thereby leaving the opportunity for any visitor to easily read the meaning of the picture, even with mixed technique and style. Изучая философию и психологию я нашла собственный язык приемы и средства для выражения сложных, для визуального отображения сюжетов. Исследую проблемы мироздания, жизни и смерти, тему конечности. Вопросы которые я задаю, созвучны с сложившимися в древности религиозно-мифологическими представлениями и поисками, но я предаю им тонкую психологическую нагрузку и пытаюсь раскрыть так, как я это вижу чувствую. Придерживаясь мнения, что не существует объективного положения вещей и точного определения общей для всех реальности. В своих исследованиях я не ограничиваю себя рамками одного сюжета -это симбиоз психологических практик,практических экспериментов и философских поисков.
I was born into a family of artists. Watching my mother from an early age I was involved in sculpture and painting. Exploring the world around me, I tried to understand and comprehend reality and define my place in it. Studying philosophy and psychology, I found my own language, techniques and means to express subjects difficult to visualize. I explore the problems of creation, life and death, the theme of finitude. The questions I ask are consonant with ancient religious and mythological ideas and searches, but I give them a subtle psychological load and try to reveal them as I see them. I adhere to the view that there is no objective state of affairs and no precise definition of reality common to all. In my research I do not limit myself to a single subject; it is a symbiosis of psychological practices, practical experiments, and philosophical quests.

I am an artist. I am not a critic, and never thought about what my style is. If I had the opportunity to talk with a good art critic, I'd love to have forwarded this question to him!
I am inspired by the environment – everything that I see and think about. This can be a room where I stay, or a fisherman's cottage, where I spent the night. This may be my cat, or the flying bird, my romantic thoughts, the sea, my travels to other cities in Algeria where I grew up... and much more. I have my own technique of working with pastels, which really fascinates me.
My motivation? for me this is just a way of living. This is my desire to share what I love. It's simple. If I think a lot about colors, but it seems to me that I do not understand them. Therefore, I am often surprised myself when I end up loving the result. It's funny but it's true.
