Paul Friedrich Wilhelm Kuhfuss was a German painter and draftsman. From 1902 to 1905 he received training as a drawing teacher at the Royal Art School in Berlin with Philipp Franck. From 1905 to 1907, Kuhfuss studied landscape painting at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Berlin-Charlottenburg (today Berlin University of the Arts). In 1907 he began teaching as an art teacher at the higher educational institutions in Berlin. In 1911 he joined the "Association of Fine Artists", in 1915 he became a member of the German Artists' Association, the Artists' Association "Berlin North" and in 1950 a member of the "Association of Berlin Artists". He worked as an illustrator for magazines from the publishing houses Scherl, Mosse, Ullstein, Jugend (Munich). From 1945 until January 1960 he was a lecturer at the Volkshochschule in Berlin-Pankow. From 1949 to 1954 he headed the "Act, Stage and Costume Design" class at the Textile and Clothing School in Berlin on Warschauer Strasse. From 1912 to 1960 he took part in 173 exhibitions.
