Each piece finely painted after Buffon with a different mammal identified in script to the edge of each scene, the rims with gilt berried vine, comprising: a soup tureen, cover and stand; nine graduated oval platters in four sizes; one large circular platter; two smaller circular platters; four chargers; a sauce tureen and cover on fixed stand; three sauce-boats on stands; two salad bowls; four shell-shaped dishes; four twelve-sided dishes; four faceted oval dishes; twenty-four soup plates; one hundred and eighteen dinner plates; a sugar-bowl and cover on fixed stand; twelve small pot de crème and covers
