The head is carved in relief with a stylised Shou character surrounded by four of the eight bajixiang, including the canopy, floral spray, vase and the eternal knot. The long elegantly curved shaft is decorated with the fish, umbrella, conch shell and the Dharma Wheel. The stone is of an even pale celadon white tone.
