A CELADON AND BLACK JADE FIGURE OF A DRAGON

MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)

The dragon with long, incised beard and knobby horns is shown in a crouched position with the head reared back and the long tail tucked under the body. The stone is of celadon and black tones with a few areas of brown mottling.
