A FINE FLAMBE-GLAZED PEAR-SHAPED VASEQIANLONG INCISED SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)The finely potted vase is applied to the compressed globular body with a striking purple glaze enriched with splashes of lavender and blue, thinning above the tall and slender neck to a soft mushroom-brown tone to the mouth rim. The base is covered in a mottled brown wash above the incised mark.8 7⁄8 in. (22.5 cm.) high Provenance S.
