Of somewhat flattened oval shape, the vessel is carved and undercut at one end with a chilong standing on the tail or body of two chilong carved on either side, one, which is also undercut, confronting an archaistic dragon. The head of a bird is carved below the rim on one side and a small chilong emerging from clouds on the base. The finely polished, translucent stone of pale greenish-yellow color has some opaque buff alteration.
