With an arrangement of eight drawers around a central door inset with a lapis lazuli-bordered panel depicting Orpheus surrounded by the animals, flanked by alabastro fiorito columns and enclosing a frieze drawer inset with amaranth panels above a mirrored architectural recess with a sliding ebony and ivory chequerboard floor, the ripple moulded drawers inset with eighteen specimen pietra dura panels depicting various animals including a unicorn, the stand with square chamfered legs
