THE DESIGN ATTRIBUTED TO HENRY FLITCROFT, THE CARVING ATTRIBUTED TO MATTHIAS LOCK, CIRCA 1745

With a spread-winged eagle clasping thunderbolts above a shell-carved pedestal bordered with floral-carved strapwork terminating in smaller shells on a tripartite base headed with masks issuing floral garlands and three scrolling arms terminating in a mask emitting four scrolling floral candle arms with foliate cast gilt-metal candle sockets and shell-bordered drip pans above a foliate and floral garland terminal with a metal ring
