The rectangular bevelled plate within a sanded eared frame, the open scrolled pediment cresting centred by a scallop shell, the apron originally with candle-branches, now filled, the gilding refreshed

45 1/2 x 24 1/4 in. (115.5 x 61.5 cm.)

With Frank Partridge, London.

Acquired from the above by Sir Timothy Eden, 8th Baronet (1893-1963) as a wedding present for Anthony Eden and Beatrice Beckett, 1923.
