ATTRIBUTED TO JOHN COBB, CIRCA 1765, THE CARVING POSSIBLY BY SEFFERIN ALKEN
Serpentine, with sectioned top over four drawers flanked by foliate-carved corbels and mounted with gilt-lacquered brass mounts cast as berried wreaths, on bracket feet, veneers of the triangular panels of the top later, the drawers with concave fillets, with inventory number ‘9821-A’ inside top drawer, one drawer with old typed label identifying Cooper provenance, numbered '821A' in yellow chalk
