Shaped oval with reeded border applied at interval with shells and scrolls, engraved on border with a coat-of-arms beneath a baron's coronet, marked underneath

54 oz. 15 dwt. (1,703 gr.)
The arms are those of Yorke impaling Cocks, for Philip Yorke, 1st Baron Hardwicke and later 1st Earl of Hardwicke (1690-1764) and his wife Margaret (d.1761), daughter of Thomas Cocks, whom he married in 1719.
